20th Century Fox have aimed for a target audience of older teenagers from their usual younger Marvel fans as this film is rated a 15 and contains much more gore. This film would've attracted many adults who are fans of superheroes and also general action movie fans.

The image on the cover is trying to represent the perfect Wife in order to aspire the female readers.
